Mechanical configuration
I. Main Equipment of the Spunbond System (2 sets in total)
1. Vacuum material feeder (2 sets): a device used to suction and convey raw materials.
2. Screw extruders (2 sets): Equipped with electrically heated cast-aluminum heating bands to ensure proper melting of the raw materials.
3. Return-material screw: It is an automatic feeding device.
4. Filter (2 sets): A device used to hold filter elements, designed to remove impurities from the PP melt.
5. Metering pumps (2 sets): Devices used to meter the amount of PP melt.
6. Spinning Box (2 sets): One of the key components of a melt‑spinning machine, the spinning box receives the polymer melt after it has passed through a filter. The melt is then distributed and thermally maintained within the box before being delivered to each spinning station for fiber formation. The box is a rectangular metal enclosure with an external insulation layer, housing the melt distribution manifold, pump mounting, and spinneret assembly. It also includes a fixture for securing the spinneret plate.
7. Single‑unit suction system (2 sets): Ensures stable suction airflow and prevents any adverse effects on the tow.
8. Aluminum cooling air boxes (2 sets): Low-temperature air is blown onto the aluminum surface at a high velocity to achieve cooling.
9. Drawing units (2 sets): tempered glass; stainless steel construction. These units stretch the filament bundle, reducing its diameter and ensuring greater uniformity prior to entry into the web-forming machine.
10. Insulation materials for oil pipelines: They feature a low thermal conductivity and excellent insulation performance, while also offering advantages such as flame retardancy, good thermal stability, light weight, heat resistance, and strong resistance to chemical corrosion.
11. Web-forming machine (1 unit): Speed: ≤ 450 m/min
12. Hot rolling mill (1 unit): Heating method: oil heating/thermal oil
13. Automatic winding machine (1 unit): Speed: ≤450 m/min
14. Mesh curtains (2 sets): Serve to support the filament bundle as it moves toward the nip roller for bonding.
15. PLC Control Cabinet: The control cabinet serves to distribute electrical power and manage the power supply to the equipment.
16. Slitting machine (1 unit): Slices large rolls of fabric into specified dimensions according to customer requirements, meeting the customer’s specifications for product length, width, and roll weight.
II. Main Equipment of the Meltblown System (2 Sets in Total)
1. Vacuum material feeder (2 sets): a device used to suction and convey raw materials.
2. Screw extruders (2 sets): The drive motors are Siemens AC variable-frequency motors.
3. Filters (2 sets): Available types include rod-type and plate-type.
4. Metering pumps (2 sets): Devices used to meter the amount of PP melt.
5. Meltblown die (2 sets):
6. Nozzle moving mechanism (2 sets): integrated lifting and lowering
7. Air heaters (2 units): Material: Stainless steel
8. High-pressure blowers (2 units):
9. Suction Fans – Meltblown (2 units): Motors are Siemens AC variable-frequency motors.
10. PLC electrical control cabinet (1 set): Siemens model
11. Mesh Curtain: Type: Seamless
Application scenarios
V. SMMS Four-Die Meltblown Composite Production Line
(Spunbond/Meltblown/Meltblown/Spunbond Line)
By adding a meltblown layer to the SMS structure, the overall proportion of meltblown fibers is significantly increased, creating a dual‑layer dense barrier. The product’s hydrostatic pressure resistance is markedly improved compared to SMS, while its hand feel becomes noticeably softer, making it an optimized solution that balances high‑efficiency barrier performance with wearing comfort128.
Segmented application scenarios:
High-performance medical supplies: High-grade surgical gowns, protective suits, sterilization wraps, and masks
High-end personal care: An inner-layer protective material for baby diapers and adult incontinence products, offering both a soft touch and reliable barrier performance.
Hygiene care backing film: High-barrier release liner for sanitary napkins and incontinence products
Filter material: Air filtration, oil-absorbing cloths, and other environmentally friendly materials
